Audit Fees

Envirostep users have free access to the self-assessment questionnaire, report, action plan, user guide and search tool. However, fees apply where users request an audit (to obtain a certificate). Current Envirostep fees and disbursements are listed below, and will be confirmed by our Scheduler when an audit is booked.

Low-Risk Sites (Home or office with <5 employees)

Residential properties and small offices do not normally present significant environmental risks, and it is likely that our auditors can do a remote audit for such sites. However, there may be cases where an on-site audit is necessary, and this decision will be made by the Scheduler when an audit is booked. Audit fees for low risk sites are as follows:

  • Remote audit: $450 + GST
  • On-site audit: $650 + GST & disbursements (see below)

Small Sites (5-10 employees)

The following fees apply:

  • Remote audit: not available
  • On-site audit: $800 + GST & disbursements (see below)

Medium Sites (11-20 employees)

The following fees apply

  • Remote audit: not available
  • On-site audit: $1,000 + GST & disbursements (see below)

Large Sites (>20 employees)

Disbursements for Site Audits

The following disbursements will apply where these costs are incurred by the auditor:

Car Travel

  • No charge where the site is within a 1 hour return trip of the Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch central business district.
  • $300 + GST where the site is within a 3 hour return trip of the Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch central business district.
  • Our Scheduler will provide an estimate of travel disbursements where your site is not within a 3 hour return trip of the Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch central business district.

Other Travel

Costs incurred by the auditor for airfares, ferry fares, vehicle hire etc. will be charged back to the client at cost. Our Scheduler will give an indication of other travel costs when an audit is booked.

Accommodation

Accomodation costs incurred by the auditor will be charged back to the client at cost.Our Scheduler will give an indication of accommodation costs when an audit is booked.
